Last weekend I was a woman on a mission to make some serious progress in…
Bonjour!
Hello! Happy Monday and happy August to you all!
I have a confession to make today…
And I hope you’ll forgive me. For you see I’ve been keeping a secret.
And Karah, Jennifer, Lisa, Kelli and Breida kept the secret for me too. Thanks ladies for being my blog BFFs 🙂
The truth is friends, that I’ve been doing a little of this.
And a little of this.
In the city that looks like this.
Don’t recognize the place?
Perhaps this tower might give it away.
Yes, that’s right. I’ve been off to France!
Yes that is me reenacting my cheerleader days in Paris at the Tour Eiffel!
Hubs and I set off for a whirlwind week of sightseeing.
Goofing off in le metro.
And eating crepes. Tres bon!
Not only did we get to see the City of Lights for three and a half days, we made our way down to the South of France to visit Marseille, which is a beautiful port city.
Yes I will be chipping this photo. Who wants to paint something that blue? I do!
Sooooooo, now that I’m done smooching under the Eiffel Tower, I’ll be back to blogging ASAP! As soon as I can bring myself down from my travel high. It was an amazing time and I can’t wait to tell you all about it!
So tell me what’s been happening with you these days? Anything special you want to know about France or Paris or how I managed to order dinner when I don’t speak French? I’ll spill it all, ask away!
P.S. Missed you!
ooooh slightly jealous over here! but happy for you! 🙂

Ooooh so fun! 🙂 I love Paris and can’t wait to go back one day. As much as I want to go with B, I really can’t wait to bring Halle when she is a little bit older! What little girl doesn’t want to go to Paris, right?
I would love to see more of France though. We drove from Calais to Paris when I was there though, and it was a stunning drive! Glad you had a great time and hope you will share more photos! 🙂
welcome home!
Right there with you… Paris worked for me, and I’m dying to go back! On this side of the ocean it was business and life as usual 🙂 Well, as usual but with the sun shining hot and bright. 🙂
Ahhh! Slightly jealous here, I’ll admit it. I’ve never been to France, or, in fact, anywhere in Europe. It looks like you guys had so much fun. And I LOVE the shot you got of the water! So beautiful!
