Happy Tuesday to you. I realized I never showed you how to make a homasote…
Bulletin Board Advent Calendar
Last month in the foyer we started a new project. I wanted a way to display interchangeable items on the wall with minimal damage to the plaster so I had the idea one night to make a bulletin board. Sweetly the hubs agreed to help and the homosote bulletin board project began.
My main objective of this piece when we started it 6 weeks ago was to make an advent calendar at Christmas time. Although I love fall and November is my favorite month, sparkly ornaments were on my mind. I’ve seen some festive ones online and couldn’t wait to make my own. Holly made one, so did Stephanie. Aren’t they lovely?
To make the bulletin board, we purchased a piece of homosote at The Big Orange, cut it to a 3′ x 4′ size, covered it with fabric and hung it up. Stay tuned for the how to, I hope it helps you, because this is a fun and useful item to have in any room.

The numbers on each tag were made with a stencil and marker.

Cute, cute, cute!!
I really like this advent idea here…looks really nice. Merry Late Christmas to you.
