Every once in a while I head to my favorite art store in town to treat myself to a little something special for a project I have in mind. One item the store carries is art paper of all kinds. They have many textures, colors and I’ve been wanting to get some for a project…
My dining room decorating project has been going on for about a year and I’ve done pretty much everything to shape it up including wallpaper, paint, make curtains, the list goes on. Just the other week after we put the new rug down I noticed something was out of place. We had this bookshelf in…
Happy almost 4th of July! I love fireworks, do you? The 4th always reminds me of the time when I was little and my sister and cousins and I would go to the town park with our parents and lie on the blanket and watch a fireworks show well into the night. Oh those moments…
Hello! So I’ve started packing for Haven and am making plans with some ladies to meet up while we are there, I can’t wait. Karah from The Space Between blog and I will be airport travelers together. She has an amazing blog, go take a look. And I’ll be rooming with Diane from In My…
It’s been a while since we visit the progress of the dining room makeover. Or I should say make, not makeover since we had not decorated it since we moved in a year and a half ago. Last we saw the room I had been lamenting the yellow color that parts of my newly-painted white…

Last weekend I was a woman on a mission to make some serious progress in our dining room. We’ve been putting up grass cloth wallpaper and things were progressing pretty slowly. Until I got in there that is. Sunday alone I finished about half the room by myself. Once this corner was up I finally…
Recently our home projects have been centered in the dining room where we are putting up grass cloth wall paper. The dining room project has been ongoing for a few months, but I don’t mind a long project at all. I’m not quite sure I could makeover a room much quicker than that, plus it…
You wallpaper it! Finally after three months of back order, my grass cloth for the jail-look-a-like dining room arrived. We got busy this past weekend measuring, pasting, and measuring some more. This is not a how to by any means, just a snapshot of the fun we’ve had in our century old dining room.Morning of. I…
