Christmas Decorating Around the House
Christmas weekend if finally here and I hope you are enjoying it with your loved ones. Today was another day of relaxation, with a little bit of getting things ready for Santa’s arrival. If you’re not blog Christmassed out I’d love to give you a tour of my Christmas decorating around the house. Come on in.
This is the front foyer in our house. I moved this console table in from the living room to make room for the tree. I kind of like it here ~ but it won’t stay long, I’ve got other plans for this space.
These houses are both little candle holders. The white one I got when I worked at Bath & Body Works many years ago. You didn’t know I was a lotin pushing, shelf restocking, hand massaging mall employee did you?
I redid my advent calendar on the homasote bulletin board like last year. Free wedding greenery alert. It’s all over the place.
More greenery from my sister’s wedding made their way onto the plates in the kitchen. I think I have to get greenery every year.
Circling around into the dining room are the feathers. I love this wreath, it was the first item I brought out this season. Like on December 1st. Hubs saw me bring it down from the attic and looks at it and looks and me so I just exclaim “Feathers don’t mean Christmas, they mean winter…” Who’s with me? I don’t know if he bought it.
Up in my office I put a little tree, with a fur garland. In this photo you’ll notice a few things. 1. I love fur! 2. The window sill needs to be refinished. Apparently the previous owners let it rain in there a bit. 3. And that the grass is green. It’s December 23rd people! And I live in a very snowy city. It’s totally fabulous. I could take this rainy winter over snow any year.
And that’s the end of the quick tour. Now if you want to warm up, we can sit by the fire and drink hot cocoa. If only I had a fire 🙂 We do need to get those fireplaces working!
I would love to chat with y’all, until then I wish you the very happiest of holidays! Merry Christmas to one and all!
Not gonna lie, I love that 25! Merry Christmas
Looks awesome! We also have no snow (got a small amount this afternoon though). Twin citites
Looks great Jessica! One more sleep and then it’s Christmas Eve… I can’t wait, but seriously, how did that happen so fast?
Beautiful job!
love the feather wreath! wanted to make one but didn’t get around to it this year 🙂 maybe next? Have a great Christmas!
It is really lovely. So inviting.
