Hello friends. I am going to start your Monday off with a bang because I…
DIY Tile Coasters
I’m really excited for this week to be here. Tomorrow and Wednesday I’m switching my blog to WordPress. I’ve been on Blogger since I started blogging in 2009 and although I’ve been able to do a lot of things, including write some html code, I’m looking forward to a new design and more organization in the new platform.
Once you come back, you’ll see the new Decor Adventures, so please take a look around then and let me know if you see anything that isn’t working correctly or maybe doesn’t link as it should. I appreciate the help!
While I’ve been working on the blog switch, I’ve also been doing some crafts at home. It’s been a goal of mine to make things from the items I currently own, since I have a very extensive collection of craft items and I’m trying to stay on a budget. One item was some leftover tile we had in the garage and it occurred to me to make some DIY outdoor tile coasters.
Best part, this was a free craft!
- Leftover tiles
- Cork for a backing and
- Heavy Glue
Once the glue is dry {which is pretty quick} you can tie up your coasters for a pretty hostess gift or just enjoy them on the patio. The whole project took about 10 minutes and was so easy, not to mention free, just the way I love my crafts. So on your next visit to the home improvement store, look for some clearance tile, and you can make a set of coasters for yourself.
The new design looks great! Congrats on the move to WordPress!
