Fall Tablescape
Hello and happy fall y’all! Temps got a little bit cooler here this past weekend and I pulled the seasonal decorations down from the attic. You know what that means, fall is here!
While there is tons of work happening in our backyard these days {you’ll see some of it if you follow me on Twitter} and we are still working on the bathroom {you’ll see updates there on Facebook}, I am doing some decorating inside too.
I put together a table setting, perfect for having some friends or loved ones over for a cozy dinner. I’ve actually not done a tablescape before on the blog, can you believe that?
This table is in our dining room, and starts with a drop cloth table cloth that I made myself by sewing some pieces together. Next I laid a scrap of burlap on top for a little layering. What would fall be without burlap right?
To make this table top unique, I threw in an unexpected color with turquoise. It’s the perfect pop with the rest of the neutrals that I had on the table. These chargers were a bright addition to the table under my white dishes.
I knew I definitely wanted a splash of gold too. These napkin rings are under $4 each at Pier 1.
Each table needs a little sparkle. What better way to bring it then with candles. Now when you set the table don’t forget the most important part… wine!
Have you ever put together a fall tablescape?
Or tried an unexpected color in you home lately?

I did a fall scape on my buffet last year for the first time. Until blogging, decorating for fall was usually just dressing the table for Thanksgiving dinner! This year, I have ideas to do up my buffet again, but I’m not quite there yet! Your table looks great, and I love the turquoise touch 🙂
I love the turquoise. You are so right that it is the perfect pop of colour. I used a navy and green plaid piece of material for my fall tablesetting. It’s a little out of the box, but I loved the results.
I am loving this turquoise!! It’s not the traditional colors but that is what makes it even better. Burlap is a staple for my fall decorations, too! I just finished up my fall tablescape as well, although we’ve yet to eat dinner in there. 😉 Happy Fall!!!
