I absolutely love living in an old house. The character in our home is so…
How to Hang Small Objects on the Wall
A few weeks ago I finally got around to making a gallery wall of the old objects we’d found in our house when we moved in. Some of these were really small and lightweight.
The objects I had to hang up were these old fold able rulers that we found in the garage. There were two parts, both small and lightweight with no apparent way to hang them on a wall. Here is how to hang small objects on the wall.

Then I put them on the back of the ruler and “snapped” it into place on the strips on the wall. You can actually hear it click together, very neat! Then you know it’s working.

Those are awesome!! Never seen them before, although I do use command hooks on occasion. Yay for something new!! 🙂
I love command strips but I have never seen those before! Great solution! I love the gallery wall too – It is a great conversation piece to kind of “introduce” people to your new old home! 🙂
I just bought some of these last week to hang a scrabble board on the wall. I haven’t tried it yet – but now I’m totally inspired with the foldable yard sticks! Love it!
Love what you did with those move-in finds!
Love it! Please post this, and anything else you may have, in my link party at
