Move-a-versary!

Yesterday marked one year since The Chef and I packed up our little apartment, climbed up and down the stairs about 2,176 times and moved into our very first home. It seems like just last month! OK, well not really, but we’re simply loving this house of ours and so this week I want to show you just how far we’ve come in our first year as new homeowners.

Moving day last year was so hot! Thankfully we had tons of friends to help. OK, what is that giant squid on the side of the moving van?

Because we had lots ‘O stuff!

There was only one item that didn’t make it up the stairs. The queen sized box spring. Sorry box spring 🙁 But she got donated to a friendly guy on Craigslist later that week.

By later in the afternoon we were so thankful to see this.

But then it meant our living room looked like this.

And our dining room like this.

And in between it’s been lots and lots and lots of fun. Come back tomorrow to see how far we’ve come. I’ll show you one space each day this week.
