There are so many projects I'd love to do in my house. It's like I…
New Curtains, Real Curtains!
If you love drop cloths, raise your hand. If you use drop cloths in your everyday decorting, raise your hand.
If you’re like me your hand is still up because drop cloths are a must have in thrifty home decorating these days!
We had them up in our bedroom since we moved in acting as curtains for the time being. If you look in the mirror in this photo you can kind of see them in the reflection. I don’t even have another pic of them.
Sadly I had to tell the drop cloths the other day that they were in fact drop cloths and they were being replaced by real curtains. They were heartbroken. But shortly they will be made into a tablecloth, so they recovered quickly.
On my first trip to Ikea as a homeowner the other week I picked up a pair of real curtains for our master bedroom. Light and modern, they have all the colors in our bedroom.
For now I’ve put them on the existing rod only because I don’t have a new one yet, but I love they way the pool on the floor. These curtains are long! And The Chef doesn’t mind since that is his side of the bed. Bonus.
Plus they let more light in and I’m always trying for that.
These are the Henny Rand curtains from Ikea. Have you put up any new curtains lately?
Absolutely perfect! Love them. Hoping your dropcloths are recovering since you “outed” them.
Such fabulous curtains! Love them! Good thing about the drop cloths is I’m sure you will find another use for them, right??
Thanksfully the drop cloths are recovering. I’m making them into a tablecloth this week!
Thanks for visiting ladies 🙂
I love how light they are, I’m all about some sunshine!!
