We're closing in on the show house opening in about a week and a half…
Our House by the Numbers
Today is the one month anniversary from when we officially moved into our first home. While thinking back to all we’ve done, I’ve compiled a list of our house by the numbers. Here are some fun and some interesting facts.
1900 year built
1818 square footage
156 number of sanding pads we used on the floors while refinishing
110 age of the house
65 minutes we waited for the lawyer to show up at closing
60 thousand done in improvements by the previous owner, including a new kitchen, new windows, new roof and weatherization.
28 gallons of paint left in the basement by that previous owner.
58 signatures made on the documents at the closing
9 foot ceilings
9 rose bushes in the backyard
5 stained glass windows in the place
4 1/2 gallons of ceiling paint used so far
4 bedrooms
3 carpets we ripped out and threw away before we refinished the floors before we moved in, including this red one
2 bathrooms
2 fireplaces
2 pocket doors between the living and dining rooms
1 1/2 car garage

Any other numbers you want to know about? Like how many rolls of paper towels I’ve used so far or how much insulation we might need to refinish the attic? Well I don’t exactly know that yet but ask me something I might know 🙂
