Hello and happy fall y'all! Temps got a little bit cooler here this past weekend…
Simple and Sparkly Holiday Tablescape
One thing most of us do at the holidays is have people over for dinner. So the table is the perfect place to add some holiday cheer and create a beautiful place to welcome friends and family. There’s some easy things you can do to make it a fun space that your guests will love.
I never considered myself a stylist by any means, but I can have a lot of fun putting together a festive table for any season. All it takes are some pieces you have from around the house and the basic plates, glasses and serving ware.
Today eight of us are showing off our favorite table settings for the holidays so you can get lots of ideas on how to bring together dishes and festive pieces to impress anyone.
See the list of the tour at the end of the post to get holiday inspiration.
I’m very excited to be showing you this because this is actually the FIRST time since we moved in that we have real dining chairs. I mean ones that aren’t from a yard sale and they are actually comfortable.
I picked out these navy chairs and they are perfect. Navy can be a neutral! They work great in our room and I’m loving them.
This table is a combination of simple yet sparkly decor with pieces that contrast against each other and all go together.
I included a black and white plaid table runner, beaded garland, shiny ornaments in rustic style vases and my favorite holiday element – glitter snowflakes.
In our dining room we have a window seat, which provides extra seating and storage. I load it up with pillows for a comfy spot for guests. Along the back wall is our buffet. I like to leave it bare so we can place extra food or drinks there.
Do you like to decorate your table for the holidays? You’ll want to check out the rest of the Holiday Tablescape Tour for more ideas.
Head on over to Amy’s at Her Toolbelt, you’ll love her buffalo check plates! I want to pop over there and stay for lunch.
Here’s the lineup for the rest of the tour, enjoy!

I am a sucker for some pinecones in a cup! I have tea cups on a shelf and I can’t stop myself from plopping pinecones into them every year! Your table looks great! Merry Christmas.
The blue and copper…so stunning! I love how unique your tablescape looks. And I couldn’t leave without saying how adorable your daughter is. My she’s getting bigger every day!
