Every year I have such a good time blogging. My only regret is that I…
The Best of 2012 ~ Part Two
May
May included an update in the master bedroom. It’s a space I haven’t shown here much, but I did get to hang up some shelves on the wall to hold some of our favorite pictures.
May is often a month for weddings. Here was my Kentucky Derby hat and the handsome hubs at a friend’s nuptials on the lake.
One project I got to do that month was wallpaper the back of bookshelves. We had some leftover grass cloth from the dining room so I spruced up the shelves in our bedroom and the ones in my office.
June
June was an amazing month with a trip to the Haven conference. I met a ton of wonderful people including Pretty Handy Girl herself who has been kind of a blog mentor to me, I love her.
There was a semi-outdoor project in June, how to pretti-fy your house plants with river rocks.
Mr. Decor Adventures, also known as the Chef, wrote a post in June. Did you read what he had to say?
Here he is, the my man behind the blog. Here he was refinishing the floors before we moved in.
June was also yard sale month, you got to see the flowers that grow in my backyard, and I got a new buffet in the dining room.
And there was a project tip, how to use glaziers points for picture frame reuse.
July
When it’s hot in the middle of summer, what does every blogger do? Move furniture. We did a little of that in the living and dining rooms.
I finished up some furniture makeovers including this Union Jack dresser. Someone actually bought it when I was in the store that sells my furniture, it’s that fun?
In July I did a review of where I am in social media land. The Pinterest challenge was in July and so I turned some old trophys into bottle toppers.
July was also time for a craft fail. Everybody has one now and again right? But we did get a new rug for the dining room.
Come back tomorrow and I promise I’ll finish this up! Anyone else have a craft fail, get a new rug or have fun with furniture recently?
