I'm on a before kick here at DA, showing you some of the rooms in…
Now that we had a date, for our wedding we decided to make Save the Date cards to mail out to our guest list. After looking though dozens of magazines and online sources, we decided on a travel theme for the wedding. It would include compass stamps, boarding passes, a passport, postcards and more in ivory and brown shades. The boarding passes ended up being our Save the Date cards which kicked off our theme.
One huge bonus of having a fiance (at the time) who is a graphic designer is that all of our design needs were taken care of. He spend lots of time working on these Save the Dates and our invitations, which I’ll show later on.
Here is our boarding pass Save the Date. Now you know The Chef’s name! It’s Dan 🙂
To package these up we folded textured brown paper and made a sleeve to go over the brown holder and inserted them in recycled craft paper envelopes. The brown and ivory with red accents became our colors.
Did you make anything creative for your wedding Save the Dates? Or do any other paper crafts lately?
P.S. Since these were professionally designed, unfortunately we are not able to share or send the template for these save the dates. If you are interested in hiring Dan to design your wedding invitations or more, he can be reached here.
